An example: Boy meets Girl via a dating website. After they have exchanged a few emails or instant messages, the boy decides he wants to give the girl a number to call him on. As he lives in shared accommodation, he doesn't want calls being answered by anyone else. He sets up a free dating number, which can be routed, to his mobile or the shared line when he knows he can answer it himself. He gives the Girl that number, knowing that only she knows it and that he can fully control it.
